Change Manager Salary £30K + 3% bonus Location Shepton Mallet
As part of the Service Assurance Team, the Change Manager is required to have:
 Strong operational knowledge and working experience of IT Change Management
 Good technical data analysis skills
 Able to work on own initiative and possess excellent organisational skills
 The ability to chair Change Advisory Meetings (CAB) and communicate at all levels
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Strong persuasion and influencing skills
 Ability to work under pressure whilst achieving objectives within challenging timescales
 Effectively prioritise work, whilst showing a clear sense of direction
 Customer Focused
 Capability to take the lead in the absence of the Change Manager
 ITIL Foundation V3 certified
 The Individual should have strong technical skills and be able to manage with confidence Change requests, assessing impact and making correct decisions to what areas of the business to notify and seek approval.
The role requirements are suited to an individual with both knowledge of both Change Management and ITIL process and procedures, it is therefore recommended that a successful candidate is accredited in both areas.
Cisco Qualifications (desired)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
ITIL Qualifications (essential)
ITIL v3 Intermediate Level
The individual must have a broad knowledge of the technologies, this includes how they work, what the advantages and disadvantages, potential or common issues with the design, configuration, maintaining and supporting the solution and troubleshooting methodology.
 Solution ; MPLS VPN Solutions, Internet Access & IPSEC, Telepresence (Video & Voice)
 Products; ADSL, SHDSL; SDH, Dark Fibre, Ethernet, Ethernet over Copper, ISDN, 3G
 MPLS Networking; Firewalls, Backbone
 ITIL: Incident, Problem and Change Management process and procedures
 Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
