Project Planner/Controller - South Coast

Our client has an opportunity to work as a Project Planner, Project Controller using MS Office in a technology driven engineering environment. You will be deployed to a client site where you will embedded in an existing team. Some appreciation of EVM will be expected. Whilst this is a consultancy role, your brief will encompass;

Working with Project Managers to create, monitor and manage functional plans
Apply Resourcing and Resource Levelling
Record progress against plan
Perform Critical Path Analysis
Review outputs & Analyse results
Report and re-plan against defined project baseline
Record costs and track scope development
Promote planning, logistics and control standards
Assist with Earned Value Analysis:
Development of Integrated Scheduling and Earned Value Competence and Capability (Process, Tools and Training).
Delivering plans to a consistent quality methodology, ensuring all changes follow the change control process
Guiding project managers on project planning, control and logistics of their plans
Responsible for individual project plans and reporting to the Programme Manager

You will need to be proficient in Microsoft Project and its use in WBS, Baseline Planning, Logic and Resourcing.:
